Project Summary

CWC has completed end to end project delivery of key infrastructure upgrades for two of Kempsey Shire Council’s Macleay Valley Holiday Parks. The project involved Civil Investigations, Design, Environmental Approvals & Construction Management works to upgrade existing dilapidated civil infrastructure within the holiday parks at Stuarts Point and Crescent Head.

Stuarts Point Holiday Park included detailed design for the internal road upgrade, coordination of an overall park electrical upgrade design, sewer ingress assessment/remediation options, stormwater investigations, preparation of REF and Construction Tender documents, and Construction Management of Stage 1 works.

Crescent Head Holiday Park included detailed design for the internal road maintenance priority areas, a pedestrian access ramp design, preparation of Exempt Development and Construction Tender documents, and Construction Management of road maintenance works.

Project challenges involved complexities around unknown existing services, construction staging due to restricted project budgets and accommodating the commercial nature of the holiday parks.
