Project Summary

CWC delivered the pre-construction services for the safety improvements of Gowings Hill Road in collaboration with Kempsey Shire Council.

The Project involved the detailed design of 1.6km of rural road, including pavement reshaping, shoulder widening, resurfacing and safety treatments.

Project challenges involved complexities around utility locating and design to avoid relocation and design of road widening over existing box culverts to maintain safe passage and avoid expensive culvert extensions.
